Create a Journal for a Gift!

In this class you will learn how to make a journal cover using faux leather. You can personalize the cover with a name, initials, or a quote in your own handwriting.

You will handpick the paper you want to use in your journal ranging from lined, blank, watercolor, vintage book pages, maps, and more! This gives you the ability to completely customize a journal to match the recipients style and personality.

We will also teach you how to make pockets and build pockets into your journal if desired. These can be great for adding notes and prompts for the recipient to find as they journal.

Lastly, we will talk about different ways you can make the journal meaningful. Things like incorporating family history, traditions, stories and memories from the past. Include inspiration and prompts throughout the journal to inspire the recipient to create or write. You will receive a comprehensive prompt deck with additional ideas to take home with you. This will be helpful as you finish creating the journal on your own.
